FAQ

Where are you located?

My office is located within the River Park Center building next to Sellwood Riverfront Park. My office address is:

205 SE Spokane Street, #301B Portland, OR 97202

How long is a typical session?
A typical session is 50–55 minutes. The length of therapy sessions may increase to allow for more extensive treatment at an additional fee if desired; however, I reserve the right to decline requests for modifying session lengths.
How do I pay?
Acceptable forms of payment are by credit, debit, or FSA/HSA card. Payment is due at the time of service, and I will bill you automatically for your session fee following the appointment.
Do you accept insurance?
I am currently in-network with PacificSource Health Plans. I can also provide you with a “superbill” for potential reimbursement from your insurance for out-of-network benefits you may have. Reimbursement varies across insurance plans, so you should call to confirm your benefits.
How do I make an appointment?

You may request an appointment by filling out the Contact form at the bottom of the page or emailing me at kasey@reverenttherapy.com.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I ask you to do so by providing at least a 24-hour notice. If a scheduled appointment time is missed or canceled without giving a 24-hour notice, you will receive a charge of a $100 missed or late canceled session fee.

What is a free initial phone consultation?
Initial phone consultations are a helpful way to determine if we are a good fit for each other in a therapeutic relationship. I ask you some basic questions to understand your situation, goals, and what kind of therapy and therapist you seek. You are welcome to ask me any questions to help you know if it feels like a good fit.
Do you offer video or phone sessions?

I offer video and phone sessions and in-person sessions at my office. It’s important to note that I require video sessions for the first intake appointment to assess mental status accurately.

Do you prescribe medications?
I do not prescribe medications.
Are you licensed?

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (License #: C6642) and a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (License #: R-5990) in Oregon. I am pursuing dual licensure as an LPC and an LMFT, as I have systems training and experience working with individuals, couples, and families.

Although presently licensed as an LPC, I will continue to work with an Oregon-approved supervisor until the completion of my application for licensure as an LMFT. My supervisor’s name is Ashlee Brisentine, and her Oregon License # is C4243. As of January 2023, I met my client contact and supervision hours requirements and am presently studying for my LMFT licensure exam.
